Larry Milton Frash, 79, of Roseville, Ohio passed away at 2:36 AM, Saturday, March 11, 2017 at Genesis Hospice Morrison House in Zanesville surrounded by his family.
He was born September 17, 1937 in Crooksville, the son of the late Emmet and Jessie(Roush) Frash. On June 3, 1966, he married Sandra (Spangler) Frash, his wife of 50 years. In addition to his wife, Sandra, he is survived by his children, Michael ( Misty) Frash of Roseville and Karen (Todd) Ferrell of Zanesville; his grandchildren, Nick (Sammy) Ferrell, Samantha and Cameron Frash and Malori Maxwell; his great grandchildren, Avah and Mahjor Ferrell; his brothers, Rodney Frash and Steve (Wanda) Frash and nieces, nephews and many friends.
In addition to his parents, Larry was preceded in death by his sister and her husband, Nora Jean and Denver Cox and his brother, Milton Frash.
Larry served in the Army overseas in Germany as a tank driver. He worked in the local pottery industry, being formerly employed at Watt Pottery, Ropers, Nelson McCoy Pottery and Burley Clay Products. He loved to spend time with his family and friends and also, his grandchildren while drawing, taking them fishing and making his special pancakes for them.
Family and friends will be received at GOEBEL FUNERAL HOME, 36 N. BUCKEYE ST., CROOKSVILLE on Tuesday, March 14 beginning at 11:00 AM until time of funeral services and a celebration of Larry's life at 1:00 PM with Larry Harper officiating. Cremation will follow the services.
Contributions may be made in Larry's memory to Genesis Hospice and Palliative Care Morrison House, 713 Forest Ave., Zanesville, OH 43701. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
