"TRADITIONS" A Full-Service Ceremony
A "traditional" funeral service refers to one with the casketed body of the deceased present with visitation and a funeral service at the funeral home, church, or some other facility and with some cultural or religious customs involved. This also generally refers to earth burial in a cemetery with a procession to that location. These services are most often public but can also be private.

Funerals Are For The Living
The funeral service is for the living
because it enables family and
friends to gather and express their
feelings. It’s a time to pay tribute,
reflect on memories, gain strength
from others and begin to accept
one of life’s many changes. A
funeral service lets you and those
close to you say goodbye and
begin the healing process.
Your presence at this funeral is of
immeasurable value. You are
contributing to a fellowship of
support extended to the family and
relatives. For them, your
attendance is comforting and
reassuring. They know that you
care and want to acknowledge the
life that was lived. By being here,
you are helping to make this service
a memorable one.
"GRAVESIDE" An Abbreviated Ceremony
A graveside service is one that occurs at the grave site in the cemetery in lieu of a funeral at the funeral home or a church. It is normally more condensed than a traditional service and can be accompanied by visitation and viewing. Also, the cost of this type of service is normally less.
"MEMORIAL SERVICE"
Memorial services are conducted when the deceased is not present following cremation or immediate burial. These services may take place anywhere the family desires. In the instance of cremation, the cremains of your loved one may be present for the service. This is an opportunity to remember your loved one through fellowship with friends and family.
"CREMATION" An Alternative to earth burial
Cremation has grown in popularity in the recent years. It may occur shortly after death or be preceded by viewing, visitation and funeral ceremony. Cremation is the fastest growing trend in funeral service but must be thoroughly understood by those choosing it. Ohio law has strict guidelines in connection with cremation. Pat and Dorothy will assist you in developing a customized cremation service that is right for you and your family.
PERSONALIZATION
Funerals are most meaningful when they are personalized to fit the unique character of your deceased loved one. A "Celebration of Life" is what we strive for as that is the entire purpose of what we do. We provide items for personalization upon request such as memorial folders with a color photo, a digital picture frame, life tribute videos, picture boards, laminated obituaries, dove or butterfly releases, personalized engraved cremation urns, "Thumbies" (custom-made jewelry with the finger print of the the deceased) and "Buddies" (custom-made jewelry with a paw print of the deceased pet), keepsake jewelry (in which some cremains or a lock of hair would be placed), and memorial candles. We believe that every service should provide a genuine expression of the individuality of your loved one.
