Ada Smith Robarge, 89, of Zanesville, Ohio passed away at 8:06 AM, Tuesday, April 5, 2016 at Primrose Retirement Community in Zanesville following an extended illness.
She was born December 27, 1926 in Bloomingdale, New Jersey, the daughter of the late Lawrence and Agnes (Decker) Smith.
Ada had worked as a telephone operator for North American Aerospace Defense Command. She was Catholic by faith.
She is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law, Wayne P. and Thea Robarge of Raleigh, North Carolina, Patrick and Ann Robarge of Roseville, Ohio, Mark and Cynthia Robarge of Mansfield, Pennsylvania and Larry Robarge of Scotia, New York; her sister, Sandy Winters of Hudson, Florida; nine grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, Ada was preceded in death by her husband, Philip J. Robarge, who passed away in 2000 and her granddaughter, Erin Leah Robarge.
The family will have a private time of reflection and fellowship. Graveside services and burial will take place in Arlington National Cemetery in Arlington, Virginia at a later date as the cemetery's scheduling permits.
