Alberta Grace Gandarilla, 77, of Crooksville peacefully passed away in the afternoon of Saturday, March 13, 2021 with her son by her side.
Grace was born one of 14 children in Parkersburg, WV on October 23, 1943 to her parents, the late, Alvie and Irene (Lanham) Cunningham.
In her younger years, Grace worked in manufacturing as a vacuum cleaner assembly operator and in a sandpaper factory. She also enjoyed the thrill of being a volunteer paramedic back in her hometown in West Virginia. In her later years, Grace spent her nights as a disc jockey for an internet radio station. All in all, everyone who knew Grace had the same opinion of her, she was a sweet and loving person.
Surviving Grace in life are her son, Richard (Carol) Mills; her siblings, Brenda, Cindy, Shirley, Holly, Jimmy, Danny, Elvis, Alvie and Jason, as well as, two grandchildren, Samantha Mills and Tony Mills.
In addition to her parents, Grace is preceded in death by her siblings, Linda, Diane “Pudge”, Evelyn and Gene.
Friends and family are invited to pay their respects from 10:00 AM-2:00 PM, Wednesday, March 17, 2021 at the Goebel Funeral Home, 36 N. Buckeye St., Crooksville. Following public viewing Grace will be cremated and interred next to her mother in Knights of Pythias Cemetery in Elizabeth, West Virginia.
