Barbara Irene Rosser, 86, of Roseville, Ohio passed away peacefully at 11:23 AM, Monday, February 10, 2025 at Genesis Hospital in Zanesville with her loving family by her side. She was born December 14, 1938 in Crooksville, the daughter of the late William Ray and Rozella (nee: Cherry) Tolley. In addition to being a devoted wife and mother, Barbara worked as an executive secretary at Peoples National Bank in New Lexington from which she retired after forty years of service. She was a member of Maple Avenue Christian Church in Crooksville. Aside from working and caring for her family, she enjoyed crocheting, knitting, cooking and using her iPad. She reveled in the company of her dear family, especially doting over her grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great great-grandchildren. Barbara loved to sing ‘Happy Birthday’ to her family. She always wanted to cook ‘the world’s largest turkey’ for holiday dinners. She was a great mother, always tending to all the needs of her children, household and family, in general. Her warm love and caring way will be so sadly missed by her family and all who knew her. Left behind to mourn her passing and carry on her legacy are her beloved daughters and their spouses, Brenda and Kent Miller and Jan and Jim Digilio; her darling grandchildren, Nikole Drake Megan Kennedy, Anthony Miller, Eric Carr, Kristen Carr, Madison Digilio, Billy Rosser, Amy Rosser, Johnesa Rosser and McCall Rosser; her beloved great-grandchildren, Brandon Rosser, Dillon Rosser, Anthony Rosser, Briley Kennedy, Grayson Kennedy, Willow Carr, River Drake, Ivory Drake, Brooks Downing, Kohen Downing, Channing Beckert, Derek Collins, Brenae Beckert, Emily Walker, Julia Rosser, Lilly Rosser, Abigail Hays, Brayden Belanger and Ava Miller; her adored great great-grandchildren, Memphis Rosser, McKenna Rosser, Weston Lee Rosser, Onaley Grace Murray and Augustus Walker; her beloved sisters, Donna Schooley and Beverly (Drew) Collins and her sister-in-law, Karen Tolley. In addition to her parents, Barbara was welcomed into eternity by her husband, John H. ‘Bud’ Rosser, Jr. who passed away March 30, 2014; her sons, John H. Rosser, III, Paul Alan Rosser and Mark Anthony Rosser; her brothers, Rolland Dale Tolley and William and Jeannine Tolley and her brother-in-law, Bill Schooley Family and friends may visit to pay respects 10 AM-2 PM, Saturday, February 15, 2025 at Goebel Funeral Home, 36 N. Buckeye St., Crooksville. Funeral services will be held at 2 PM, Saturday with Pastor Jonathon Thomas as celebrant. Barbara will be cremated following the services. At a later date, she will be interred together with her husband in Iliff Cemetery.
