Betty Ann Burley

Betty Ann Burley, 84, of Zanesville, Ohio, formerly of Crooksville, passed away at 9:41 AM, Saturday, April 16, 2011 at Cedar Hill Care Center in Zanesville following an extended illness.

She was born December 8, 1926 in Crooksville, the daughter of the late Carl E. and Birton Young Burley.

Betty had worked as a secretary at the Crooksville China Company and she retired from Cesco Plant Refractories Division of Ferro Corporation in Crooksville.

Miss Burley is survived by her devoted sister, Ina May Burley of Zanesville and her cousins and caregivers, Carole Downs of New Lexington and Carmen Baker of Zanesville.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Thomas J. Burley.

In keeping with Betty's wishes, cremation will take place. A graveside service will be held at 1:00 PM, Wednesday, April 20 at Crooksville Cemetery with Rev. Tim Patton officiating.
