Betty Ann Stover, 82, of Crooksville, Ohio passed away at 4:55 AM, Sunday, December 13, 2015 at UPMC Presbyterian Hospital in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania following an extended illness.

She was born March 6, 1933 in Crooksville, the daughter of the late Burley and Anna (Corbett) Channel.

Betty was a former office employee of M.A, Knight Pottery, Crooksville. She is a member of Church of The Atonement, also in Crooksville where she formerly was in the church choir.

She is survived by her husband of 60 years, Estel S. Stover, Jr.; her son and daughter-in-law, Jeffrey and Tina Stover of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania; her grandchildren, David, Rachel, John and Mark; her sisters-in-law, Shirley (Walter) Bankes of Malta and Blanche Channel of Terra Haute, Indiana; her brother-in-law, Randy (Betty) Stover of New Lexington and her nieces and nephews, JoAnn and Jeff Welch, Ronnie and Nancy Channel, Marty Channel, Nancy Eby, Tammy Bankes, Diane Horn, Annette Hallowell, Dan and Naomi Bankes and Wesley and Misty Stover.

In addition to her parents, Betty was preceded in death by her sister, Faye Keiner and brothers, Ronald Channel and George 'Eddie' Channel.

Family and friends will be received 4-8 PM, Thursday, December 17 at GOEBEL FUNERAL HOME, 36 N. BUCKEYE ST., CROOKSVILLE where a Christian Wake Service and Rosary will be held at 8:00 PM led by Mark Weiner. Funeral mass will be celebrated at 11:00 AM, Friday, December 18 at Church of The Atonement Catholic Church, 300 Winter St., Crooksville with Father James Csaszar as celebrant. Burial will follow in St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery, Crooksville. Following the committal service at the cemetery, a luncheon will be prepared for the family and friends in the church's social hall.
