Blanche O. Mock

Blanche O. Mock, 91, of Crooksville, Ohio passed away at 5:15 A.M, Wednesday, December 29, 2010 at New Lexington Care and Rehabilitation Center following an extended illness.

She was born May 3, 1919 in Perry County, Ohio, the daughter of the late James and Anna Wood Ferguson.

Blanche was retired from Nelson McCoy Pottery in Roseville. She was a member of New Lexington Church of Christ in Christian Union.

Mrs. Mock is survived by her daughters and son-in-law, Cheryl Starner of New Lexington and Cindy & Bill Danner of Memphis, Tennesee; her sons and daughter-in-law, James & Marilyn Mock of Portersville and Robby Mock (Jenny)of Columbus; her sister, Eudella Smith of Carroll; ten grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, Blanche was preceded in death by her husband, James C. Mock, who passed away April 12, 1963; her son Randy Mock; sisters,Annie Ferguson, Mary Shaffer, Bessie Kneicht, Sarah Kimble and Juliaetta Cox; brothers, Franklin, Harry, John, James, and George Ferguson.

The Mock family will receive visitors 5:00-9:00 P.M., Thursday, December 30 at GOEBEL FUNERAL HOME, 36 N. BUCKEYE ST., CROOKSVILLE where funeral services and a celebration of Blanche's life will be held at 11:00 A.M., Friday, December 31 with Pastor Dan Hinkle officiating. Burial will follow in Iliff Cemetery at McLuney.
