Bonnie Jean Cavinee

Bonnie Jean Cavinee, 87 of Crooksville, Ohio passed away at 5:45 AM, Saturday, February 7, 2015 at Genesis Hospice Morrison House in Zanesville, Ohio.

She was born December 18, 1927 in Crooksville, the daughter of the late Wenzel C. and Nellie G. Whitehouse Holmes. Bonnie was a homemaker and a former employee of the Hull Pottery Company.

She is survived by her daughter, Ginger Bowen of Moxahala; her son and daughter-in-law, Jeffrey and Carol Cavinee of Crooksville; her grandchildren, Jesse Wayne Bowen (Sue Burch), Jeremy Dwaine (Andrea) Bowen and Miranda Sioux Bowen; her great grandchildren, Mariah Noelle Bowen, Lance Corporal Steeler Gregory Bowen, Hunter Gage Bowen, Haley Nicole Hurst, Shaun Christopher Styborski, Caleb Wesley Bowen, Lillian Rose Bowen and Tristan Slade Bowen and her great great grandson, Lucas Martin Bowen.

In addition to her parents, Bonnie was preceded in death by her granddaughter, Brenda Lynn Cavinee; her sister, Mae Dusenberry; her brothers, Carlos Holmes and Lloyd Holmes; her son-in-law, Max Bowen and her former husband, Walter Cavinee..

Family and friends will be received 10:00 AM until 12 noon on Monday, February 9 at GOEBEL FUNERAL HOME, 36 N. BUCKEYE ST., CROOKSVILLE where funeral services and a celebration of Bonnie's life will be held at 12 noon with Wenzel Holmes officiating. Burial will follow in Iliff Cemetery.
