Brenda Lee Barker

Brenda Lee Barker, 74, of Crooksville, passed away at 7:35 AM, August 12, 2014.

Brenda was born October 26, 1939, in Chesterhill, the daughter of the late Earnest and Blanche Hill Starling.

Formerly, she had worked as a nurse's aid at Mark Rest Center in McConnelsville and Malta Manufacturing. She was a member of the Fultonham Baptist Church.

Brenda is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Debbie and Philip Post of Crooksville; her sisters, Anabelle Davis of McConnelsville and Sara Vanoster of Malta and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Brenda is preceded in death by her husband Eddie Barker who passed away in 2006; her sisters, Rosemary Propst, Carmen Buchanan and Margaret Gheen Modesitt and her brother Eugene Starling.

Friends and family will be received7:00 PM-8:00 PM, Wednesday, August 13, 2014 at the GOEBEL FUNERAL HOME, 36 N. BUCKEYE ST., CROOKSVILLE. In keeping with Brenda's wishes, a dignified cremation will follow.
