Bryan David Heigley, 42, of Deavertown, Ohio died at 8:08 PM, Thursday, December 10, 2020 at his home with his parents and entire loving family surrounding him in love.
He was born December 5, 1978 in Zanesville, the son of David and Cheryl (nee: Wannamaker) Heigley with whom he made his home.
Bryan was such a loving, sweet boy who loved giving kisses and always wanted to shake your hand. He loved playing with his dominoes and sorting his golf tees. He was a member of Church of The Atonement Catholic Church in Crooksville which he attended every Sunday that was possible with his mom and family. He was greatly loved by his church family as well. Bryan was truly one of God’s angels put here on Earth for us to love.
Left behind to mourn his passing are his parents, David and Cheryl Heigley; his siblings, Julie (Bill) Dalrymple of Roseville, Mike (Verna) Heigley of Deavertown, Heidi (Jimmy) Staker of Duncan Falls, Holly (Jodi) Perani of Corning , his ‘bestest’ friend and loving caregiver who took such good care of Bryan, Gail Croston ; his uncle and Godfather, Joe (Carla) Woneymaker and his uncle Bernie (Carol) Heigley; many nieces and nephews, Ethan (Tori) and Eric Van Horn, Clarissa (Floyd) Wang, Brittany and Benjamin Heigley, Makayla, Marissa and Makenna Staker, Katlyn, Monica, Josie and Joey Perani; and his three great nephews, Owen and Orin Van Horn and Weston Carney and his cousins.
Bryan was preceded in death by his niece, Lorianna Van Horn; his cousin and best buddy who called him ‘Big B’, Jared Woneymaker and his grandparents, Steve and Kathryn Heigley and Kenny and Mary Catherine Woneymaker.
Family and friends may come to pay respects to the family 5-8 PM, Tuesday, December 15 at Church of The Atonement Catholic Church, 300 Winter St., Crooksville where the Rosary will be recited at 7:45 PM.
Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11 AM, Wednesday, December 16 at Church of The Atonement with Father Christopher Yakkel as Celebrant and Bryan’s entire family participating. Due to Covid 19 restrictions and out of respect for the family, masks and social distancing will be required. Bryan will be laid to rest in St. Joseph Cemetery near Crooksville.
Memorial contributions may be made in Bryan’s memory to Church of The Atonement Catholic Church, 309 N. Main St., New Lexington, OH 43764 or Two-Bridges, 3580 St. Rt. 376, McConnelsville, OH 43756. Envelopes will be available at the visitation.
