Bryan Eugene Pettet

January 30, 1984 — December 2, 2019

Bryan E. Pettet, 35, of Moxahala, passed away in his sleep in the early morning hours of Monday, December 2, 2019 at his home.

He was born on January 30, 1984 in Zanesville, the son of Floyd Pettet, Jr. and his late mother, Debbie (nee: Justus) Pettet.

After receiving his Commercial Drivers License, Bryan followed in his father’s footsteps and for the next ten-years he worked as a truck driver and was currently employed by Darby Creek. Bryan’s family are deeply saddened by his unexpected passing and will forever miss his ornery personality, his innocent grin when he was pulling a joke on you, his loyalty to helping anyone who asked and his love for cheeseburgers and any kind of pizza. More than anything, Bryan had a deep and abiding love for his children, Tandi, Kylie and his namesake, Bryan, Jr.

Left to mourn his passing are his wife of nine-years, Tansie (nee: Hougland) Pettet; his darling children, Tandi Pettet, Kylie Pettet and Bryan Pettet, Jr.; father, Floyd Pettet, Jr., his siblings, Jessica Hockman, Kelly Pettet, Floyd (Tracy) Pettet, III, Dustin (Melinda) Pettet and Kevin Pettet; his maternal grandmother, Olive (Rick) Eveland; his grandfather, Richard Legg and many many nieces and nephews.

In addition to his mother, preceding Bryan in death are his paternal grandparents, Floyd (Addabelle) Pettet, Sr., his maternal grandfather, Jesse Justus, Sr. and his uncles, Jesse Justus, Jr., and Zeke Justus.

The Pettet family invites all friends to visit from 4:00 PM-8:00 PM, Thursday, December 5, 2019 at the Goebel Funeral Home, 36 N. Buckeye St., Crooksville. Funeral services for Bryan will be 11:00 AM, Friday, December 6 at the Zion Christian Union Church, 15834 Portie-Flamingo Rd, Corning, OH 43730, where Pastor Tony Pettet will preside over services. Bryan will then take one last ride in his pick-up truck to his final resting place in Zion Cemetery.
