Charity M. Kinney Wilson

Charity M. (Kinney) Wilson, 73, of Crooksville, Ohio passed away at 1:45 PM, Saturday, February 20, 2016 at her residence following an extended illness.

She was born January 4, 1943 at Buzzard's Glory, New Lexington, the daughter of the late Charles and Eldie (Pryor) Megething.

Charity was a former employee of N & N Bakery in Mt. Perry. She was a member of the House of Prayer Church in Roseville.

She is survived by her daughters, Carolyn (Duke) Powell, Dorothy Rutter, Brenda Belcher, all of Crooksville and Shelby Scott of Waverly; her son, Walter Kinney, Jr. of Crooksville; six step-children, several grandchildren and great grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, Charity was preceded in death by her first husband, Walter Kinney who passed away Jan. 13, 1990; her second husband, Jesse Wilson, who passed away Jan. 11, 2000 and her brother, John Megething.

Family and friends will be received beginning at 11:00 AM, Wednesday, February 24 at GOEBEL FUNERAL HOME, 36 N. BUCKEYE ST., CROOKSVILLE. Funeral services and a celebration of Charity's life will be held at 1:00 PM, Wednesday at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Rehoboth Cemetery.
