Charles David Brunton

Charles David 'Dave' Brunton, 57, of Crooksville, Ohio passed away at 3:00 PM, Monday, September 19, 2011 at FairHope Hospice Pickering House in Lancaster following an extended illness.

Dave was born March 9, 1954 in Zanesville, the son of the late Charles Edward Brunton and Esther Abram Brunton Rose of New Lexington.

Mr. Brunton retired from Cooper Standard in New Lexington after 38 years as a forklift operator.
He was a member of the New Lexington Congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses.

Dave is survived by his wife of 35 years, Kerry Ross Brunton; his daughter and son-in-law, Angie & Tim Ratliff of New Lexington; his sons and daughters-in-law, Vance & Arlinda Patterson of Crooksville and Mark & Emily Brunton of Athens; his sisters, Vicki (Tom) Dickerson of New Lexington, Peggy (Randy) Tahyi of Fourtney, Texas; sister-in-law, Lana Brunton of Indiana; half-sister, Rhonda Brunton of Columbus and half-brother, Kirk Brunton of Florida; six grandchildren, Kara Patterson, Rich Maurer, Rainbow Ratliff, Cassidy Brunton, Tequilla Olney and Dallas Justice; great grandchild, Ace Maurer and his step-father, Gene Rose of New Lexington.

In addition to his father, Dave was preceded in death by brothers, Ed Brunton and Timothy Brunton.

In keeping with Dave's wishes, cremation will take place.

A memorial service and celebration of Dave's life will be held at 1:00 PM, Saturday, October 1 at GOEBEL FUNERAL HOME, 36 N. BUCKEYE ST., CROOKSVILLE.
