Connie L. Thomas

Connie L. Thomas,67, of Crooksville, Ohio passed away at 2:51 PM, Monday, June 11, 2012 at her residence surrounded by her loving family.

Connie was born August 10, 1944 in Zanesville, the daughter of the late Maxine Dorsey Hinkle and Jack McCabe and together with her mom, was raised by her 'Daddy', Robert L. Hinkle.

Connie was a graduate of Ohio University and retired from teaching elementary grades at Tri-Valley Schools. She was a member of Refuge Cornerstone Ministries Church in Crooksville.

Mrs. Thomas is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Danny and Lori Thomas of Crooksville; her sister, Bobi (Bryan) Brill of Zanesville; her uncle, Paul Dorsey of Crooksville; her grandchildren, JoAnn & Steven Moore, Danny Thomas, Jr., Kasey and Whitney Thomas; several nieces, nephews, great nephews, a great great nephew and a great niece on the way

In additon to her parents, Connie was preceded in death by her husband, Edgar "Eck" Thomas who passed away September 24, 2003; her sister, Ruth Jewett; her brother, Robert L. Hinkle; son, Mike Thomas; her grandparents, Mom and Dad Dorsey and her brother-in-law, Darrell Thomas.

Family and friends will be received 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM, Thursday, June 14 at GOEBEL FUNERAL HOME, 36 N. BUCKEYE ST., CROOKSVILLE.
Funeral services and a celebration of Connie's life will be held at 1:00 PM, Thursday at the funeral home with Pastors Larry Penrod and Ronnie Spring officiating. Burial will follow in Rehoboth Cemetery.
