Craig Carson Watts, 70, of Zanesville, Ohio, formerly of Crooksville, passed away in the early morning hours of Wednesday, July 19, 2023 at his residence.
He was born January 23, 1953 in Zanesville, the youngest son of the late James Emmett and Louise Marie (nee: Carson) Watts.
Craig was a 1972 graduate of Crooksville High School. He worked as an interstate truck driver, hauling produce until he became disabled. He enjoyed traveling around Southeastern Ohio, visiting friends and family in the area and watching car auctions and NASCAR races on TV. Craig was Methodist by faith.
Craig was preceded in death by his father, Emmett in 1992 and his mother Louise in 2013. Left behind to mourn his passing are his siblings and their spouses, Byron and Nanci Watts, Debby and Don Silver and Darcy Lyle, nieces, nephews, cousins, great-nieces and great-nephews.
Family and friends may visit to pay respects 1-2 PM, Sunday, July 23, 2023 at Goebel Funeral Home, 36 N. Buckeye St., Crooksville where funeral services will be held at 2 PM with Pastor Peggy Watts as celebrant. Craig will be laid to rest in Crooksville Cemetery beside his parents.
