Dale L. Brown

Dale L. Brown, 80, of Crooksville passed away at 5:02 PM, Thursday, February 26, 2015 at Genesis Good Samaritan Hospital ICU following a brief illness.

Dale was born September 14, 1934 in Crooksville, the son of the late, Emmett and Mary Elizabeth Moore Brown.

He was a farmer by trade, he worked for National Plumbling and Cesco Corp. in Crooksville and was a member of the Crooksville Eagles Aerie #1979. He deeply enjoyed traveling, collecting antiques, attending auctions and yard sales. Dale was a loving and caring husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather.

Dale is survived by his wife of fifty-five years, Pearl Jenkins Brown of the home, his sons, Terry (Vickie) Brown of Crooksville, Mark (Shelly) Brown of Crooksville and Tom (Dee Tigner) Brown of Crooksville; his grandchildren, Cody Brown, Kacy (Nate) Hammer, Ashley (Mike) Dalyrmple and his great-grandchildren, Kali, Seth, Cadin and Braxton.

In addition to his parents, Dale is preceded in death by his sisters and brothers-in-law, Wanda (Paul) Dieckow and Patsy (Bill) Cavinee and his brother Gilbert Brown.

Family and friends will be received, 2:00 PM-4:00 PM and 6:00 PM-8:00 PM, Tuesday, March 3, 2015 at the GOEBEL FUNERAL HOME, 36 N. BUCKEYE ST., CROOKSVILLE. Funeral services and a celebration of Dale's life will be 11:00 AM, Wednesday, March 4 at the funeral home with Rev. Gay E. Blau officiating. Burial will follow in Crooksville cemetery.
