Denny Ray Roush, 66, of Pataskala, passed away on Tuesday, February 4, 2025. Born to the late Chester and Lena (Ramsey) Roush. Denny lived a life marked by dedication, service, and love for his family and friends.
Denny served our country honorably in the United States Navy during the Vietnam War, a testament to his bravery and commitment to protecting the values we hold dear. Upon returning from his service, he pursued his passion for technology by attending school at MATC, for computer science. His professional journey began at Cardinal Health as a computer technician, where his expertise flourished. Denny later retired from Higgbeys in New Lexington, after a remarkable 26-year career, leaving behind a legacy of hard work and dedication. A proud member of the AMVETS in Thornville, Denny held a special place in his heart for fellow veterans and their shared experiences. He found joy in watching sports, especially supporting Ohio State University football, where his loyalty and enthusiasm brought countless moments of enjoyment. Denny's greatest pride, however, was in his family. He is survived by his beloved sons, Joshua Roush and Jason Roush, his cherished sisters; Toni Ferguson, Debbie Roush, and Barbara Embrey, his grandchildren; Clayton Roush, Caieson Roush, and Carmalynn Roush, his wife and friend, Franny, and his best friend, Rick Crooks.
Denny was preceded in death by his parents, Chester and Lena Roush, his step-son Lexi Barker, and his brother, Jeffery Roush.
The Roush family has chosen to mourn privately, Denny will be cremated and buried in Crooksville Cemetery where full military honors will be rendered.
The family would like to give special thanks to Pataskala Oaks for their great care. Donations can be made in Denny’s honor to the resident fund.
