D. Keith Hale

July 21, 1951 — November 7, 2018

David Keith Hale, 67, of Corning died at 1:20 AM, Wednesday, November 7, 2018 at The Ohio State University Ross Heart Hospital in Columbus following an extended illness.

Born on July 21, 1951, the eldest son of the late Charles "Jack" Hale and Fairy M. (Frisk) Hale of Riverbank California, Keith spent his younger years moving back and forth between Ohio and California.

Keith stuck to his word and upon his retirement from Con Agra foods as a fork lift operator, he and his wife, Maggie moved back to Ohio. Keith spent his years as a dedicated hunter, fisherman and a general outdoorsman. Keith was known to be able to fix anything and was always doing many of his own big projects around his and Maggie's home. Keith and Maggie attend and are active members of the Grace Community Church of the Nazarene in New Lexington. Keith will always be known for his spitfire personality and general love of people. Keith's personal daily goal was to make someone smile everyday, and he was proud to accomplish that in life.

In addition to his Mother, surviving Keith in life are his loving wife, Margaret Anne (Kuehl) Hale whom he married, June 17, 2001; his daughters and their husbands, Katrina (Clif), Tammy (Allen) and Kelly (Mark); his brother, Karl Hale; his niece, Heather (Jim); his great-niece and nephew, Savannah and Lane; his grandchildren, Aaron, Austin, Tessa, Heather, Sabrina, Samantha, Kayla and Jessica and his seven great-grandchildren.

The Hale family will receive family and friends 10:00 AM-1:00 PM, Tuesday, November 13, 2018 at the Goebel Funeral Home, 36 N. Buckeye St., Crooksville. Funeral services will follow at 1:00 PM at the funeral home with Pastor Larry Brisker officiating. Keith will then be laid to rest in Zion Cemetery.
