Zanesville

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Donald Ray Lindimore in the early morning hours of Sunday, July 14, 2024 at his daughter's home in the country. A kind and caring soul, Don was a beloved husband, father, brother, papaw and friend. Born on May 26, 1956, in Zanesville, Ohio, Don touched the lives of all those around him with his gentle spirit and generous nature.

Donald served his country proudly and honorably in the United States Navy from 1975-1979 and was a dedicated member of various veterans' organizations, including the AMVETS and the American Legion.

A skilled craftsman, Donald enjoyed crocheting, a hobby he shared with his wife. He often made blankets for his family members, showcasing his talent and creativity. In his free time, he could be found crafting wood or fishing with his beloved wife, creating cherished memories together.

His love for his wife was evident in everything he did, and he greatly missed her in the last year of his life.

Don's memory will live on in the hearts of his daughter, Jennifer Carney, son-in-law Jason Carney, his siblings, Alice (Bob) Stoneburner, Barb (Doug) Williams, Patty Strathern, Bill Lindimore, and his brother-in-law, Steve Hartley. Left to remember him as Papaw, are his grandchildren, Bradlee (Emily) Carney, Meagan Carney, Andrew Carney, McKinzie Pyle and Emma Pyle, as well as his newest great-grandson, Hudson Pyle.

In his passing, Don is finally reunited with his darling wife, Wanda Lindimore who died May 13, 2023.
