Donna Sue Jadwin, known affectionately as Donna Sue, passed away on May 19, 2024, in Zanesville, Ohio. She was born on February 22, 1939, in San Toy, Ohio, to Elvie and Luella Allen.
Donna Sue lived a fulfilling life as a factory worker for Essex Wire Company and TRW Co., dedicating her days to hard work and commitment. Her warm and loving personality shone through in everything she did, earning her the reputation of being a great mother and a truly loving person.
In her free time, Donna Sue indulged in hobbies such as bowling and showcasing her remarkable skills as an amazing cook and baker. Her talents brought joy to many gatherings and will be fondly remembered by all who had the pleasure of tasting her creations.
She is survived by her son Greg (Linda) Jadwin; siblings Peggy Factor, Nancy (Ron) Channel, and Mary Lou Baker; her daughter-in-law, Janie Jadwin; her grandchildren, Adam (Samantha) Jadwin, Ashlie (Silas) Sterling, and Tiffany Van Matre; great-grandchildren Hunter Jadwin, Cooper Jadwin, Zoey Jadwin, Griffin Jadwin, Hayden Benjamin, Ethan Benjamin, Ella Van Matre; as well as special friend Mary Cooper.
Donna Sue is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Melvin "Pete" Jadwin; her son, Jeffrey Jadwin, and her siblings, Joann Thompson, Tommy Allen, Bernard Allen, and Jackie Allen.
Friends and family are welcome to visit from 11:00 AM-1:00 PM on Wednesday, May 22, 2024 at Goebel Funeral Home, 36 N. Buckeye St., Crooksville Funeral services will begin at 1:00 PM with Kyle Eveland as celebrant. Donna Sue will then be laid to rest in Zion Cemetery next to her husband, Pete.
Donna Sue Jadwin's kindness and warmth will be dearly missed by all who knew her. May she rest in peace knowing she touched the hearts of many with her love and care.
