Donna June (Whitehead) Peck

May 17, 1938 — May 12, 2022

Crooksville

Donna June Peck, 83, of Crooksville, peacefully died in her sleep in the early morning hours of Thursday, May 12, 2022, at her home.

She was born one of twelve children on May 17, 1938, to the late, Francis and Anna (Pugh) Whitehead.

Donna spent her working years accomplishing secretarial duties for Armco Steel Corp and the Hull Pottery Co. Above all, Donna was a woman of immense and deep faith. Her devotion to her Church and her family were unparalleled. Caring for her children and grandchildren was her top priority in her earthly life. She made her Christian home within the walls of The Anchor Church in Crooksville where she tirelessly ministered to the needs of the Church and her fellow Christians. The world was her family, she knew no stranger, and rejoiced in the fact that we were all siblings in Christ. Donna had a deep love for simply caring for others, spreading Christian cheer with hugs, and kind words, assuredly has her dancing with her Savior on this day! Although she is deeply missed by her family and their time with her seemed all to brief, her love carries them forward.

Surviving her in life are her children, Diane (Joe) Tipton, Marcy (Larry) Miller, Donald (Peggy) Peck, Keith (Peggy) Peck, Gloria Peck and Judy Peck; her siblings, Anna Mae Frame, Helen Sands, Ruby Core, Shirley (Jan) Harlan, Richard (Mary Anne) Whitehead and Jim (Beth) Whitehead and her grandchildren, Joey (Cori) Tipton, Brian Tipton, Michelle Granger, Christian Peck, Keith (Brandi) Peck II, Gavin (Kerra) Peck, Ryan Peck, Noah Peck, Kyle Deavers, Brad (Niki) McCabe and Josh (Destiny) McCabe. In addition, many many great grandchildren, numerous nieces, and nephews, as well as an entire Church family.

In addition to her parents, welcoming Donna into eternal life are her late husband, Donis Peck and her siblings, Max Whitehead, Lloyd Whitehead, Junior Whitehead, Mary Alice Syphers, Dora Novaria and Ruhama Ulen.

Honoring Donna’s wishes, the family has chosen to privately mourn their loss and have her cremated. A celebration of life and memorial service will be held at a later date.
