Doris Jean White, 70, of Hull St., Crooksville, Ohio passed away at 9:00 P.M., Thursday, April 1, 2010 at Genesis Morrison House in Zanesville following a brief illness.

She was born September 21, 1939 in Newark the daughter of the late Joseph and Nellie Johnson Lake. Doris was a former employee of Glassfloss and the Hull Pottery Co. both in Crooksville.

Doris is survived by her husband of 32 years, William E. White; three daughters, Terri (Craig) Caton of Crooksville, Lisa (Chuck) Snider of New Lexington and Jan(Dean) Smith of Zanesville; two sons, Billy Joe(Heather)White of Zanesville and Chris (Stacy) White of Pickerington; sister-in-law, Dorothy Lake of Nashport; brother, Mark Lake of Newark; ten grandchildren, Josh(Elizabeth)Caton, Kevin(Linda)Caton, Kristen(Nathan)Filkins, Jon(Stephanie)Snider, Jessica(Kyle) Snider, Clay White, Maggie White, Owen White, and Jerzei Blacketter; great grandchildren, Violet, Drew, Elaine, Craig and Flynn Caton. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Michael E. Caldwell; her granddaughter, Jena Snider; three brothers, Bill, John, and Kenny and three sisters, Mildred, Eileen and Bernice.

The White family will receive visitors beginning at 12:00 noon on Friday, April 9 with a Memorial service and celebration of Doris' and Bill's lives at 2:00 P.M. at GOEBEL FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES, 36 N. BUCKEYE ST., CROOKSVILLE with Pastor Conard Wolf officiating. Burial will follow at Iliff Cemetery.
