Dorothy Jean Bell

Dorothy Jean Bell, 67 of Zanesville, Ohio passed away at 11:35 pm, Sunday, October 24, 2010 at her residence following a courageous battle with breast cancer.

She was born August 8, 1943 in Belmont, Ohio, the daughter of the late William and
Mary (Brady) Cumberlidge, a decendant of Matthew Brady, a famous photographer. Dorothy was the owner and manager of Bell Rental Properties in the Zanesville area and was the Regional Director of the Southeast Garden Club, a Cub Scout and Brownie Leader, a member of Beta Sigma Phi and Delta Chi Sororities ; Who's Who in Executives an Professionals, a member of the Handyman Club of America, Goldwing Chapter Y2 Riders association. She taught reverse painting on glass.

Dorothy is survived by her husband of 48 years, Terry Bell; her daughter, Cheri (Bob) Hopkins of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina; her son, Kevin (Anna) Bell of Zanesville; eight grandchildren, Terry, Todd, Troy, Alisha, Chelsea, Lindsey, Eric, and Tiffany; nine great grandchildren, Austin, Alayna, Kelsey, Whitney, Allydia, Aliviah, Tabitha, Samantha and Leona; her sister Patricia Ann Cumberlidge of Carroll, Ohio; several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Wilma Paulette Cumberlidge and a nephew, Chester Lee Henson.

The Bell family will receive visitors 2-4 & 6-8, Tuesday, October 26 at Goebel Funeral Home, 36 N. Buckeye St., Crooksville where funeral services and a celebration
of Dorothys' life will be held at 11:00 am, Wednesday, October 27 with Pastor Al Laese
officiating. Burial will follow in Rose Hill Cemetery, in Roseville.
