Dorothy E. Zollinger

Dorothy Lewis Zollinger, 84, of Zanesville, formerly of New Concord, passed away at 1:10 PM, Monday, May 30, 2016 at Adams Lane Care Center in Zanesville following an extended illness.

She was born January 25, 1932 in Rosefarm, the daughter of the late Albert and Myrtle (Robinson) Lewis.

Dorothy had retired from Adams Lane Care Center where she had worked as an LPN for many years. She was a Christian all of her life and formerly had attended Rosefarm Church of Christ.

She is survived by her daughters and sons-in-law, Lottie and Michael Fisher of New Concord and Donna Jo and Raymond Suppan of Doylestown; her grandsons, Barry Ransbottom, Paul (Celina) Evans and Brandon ( Marie) Evans and her nephew, Rodney (Sheri) Walters of Crooksville.

In addition to her parents, Dorothy was preceded in death by her husband, Howard Zollinger who passed away in 1972 and her sisters, Tess Walters and Josephine Yoder.

Family and friends will be received 9:00 AM-12 noon, Friday, June 3 at GOEBEL FUNERAL HOME, 36 N. BUCKEYE ST., CROOKSVILLE. Funeral services and a celebration of Dorothy's life will be held at 12 noon at the funeral home with Pastor Larry Taylor officiating. Burial will follow in Deavertown Methodist Cemetery.
