Edward Dean Love

August 21, 1962 — May 27, 2022

Roseville

Edward Dean Love, 59, of Roseville, died in the afternoon hours of Friday, May 27, 2022, at his home with his family by his side following a ten-month long battle with cancer. CANCER SUCKS

He was born one of ten sons, on August 21, 1962, to the late, Herman and Margaret (Wilson) Love.

Eddie spent many years as an employee of Beaumont Bros Pottery until an injury left him unable to do so. Until his recent illness, he worked for Value Auto Auction in Crooksville. At his heart, Eddie was a family man, his children and grandchildren were his life. He shared his love for animals, especially his love for horses. He enjoyed trail riding, camping, and his Sunday morning coffee. Eddie was a jokester, always bringing his family and friends to tears from laughing. He was a dedicated motorcycle rider; he was never one to miss a poker run and loved his yellow Harley. His family who loves and misses him dearly, see it only fitting that a Harley Davidson motorcycle hearse be used for his final ride.

Surviving him in life are his wife of 37 years, Sharon (Etters) Love; his children, April Love, Aliza (CJ) Snyder and Amanda (Hunter) Wilson; his grandson whom he raised and considered a son, Jordan Morgan; his grandchildren, Jadyn Harper, Jinson Harper, Laylie Love, Brantlee Wilson, Jax Wilson, Lane Synder, Remington Snyder and Okalynn Snyder; his brothers, Tom (Bernice) Love, Dave Love, Charles (Paula) Love, Raymond (Jenny) Love, Gary (Debbie) Love and David Lee (Amy) Love and his mother-in-law, Ethel (Gary) Hollenbaugh and his father-in-law, Norman Etters.

In addition to his parents, Eddie is preceded in death by his very special grandson, James Matthew Herman Love and his brothers, Michael Love, Jeff Love and Keith Love.

Friends are welcome to visit from 4-8:00 PM, Tuesday, May 31, 2022, at Goebel Funeral Home, 36 N. Buckeye St., Crooksville. Funeral services will be rendered at 1:00 PM, Wednesday, June 1, 2022, with Pastor Larry Harper officiating. Eddie will then be laid to rest in Mt. Horeb Cemetery next to his grandson.
