Elda Gail Hill

Elda Gail Hill, 97, of Crooksville, Ohio passed away at 9:08 PM, Wednesday, June 14, 2017 at the Oaks at Northpointe in Zanesville following an extended illness.

She was born on March 29, 1920 in Buchtel, the daughter of the late Frank and Lois Richardson Oakley.

Elda Gail had worked for the Crooksville Bank as a vault teller and was a member of the Order of Eastern Star. In addition, Elda Gail attended and was a member of the Iliff United Methodist Church in McLuney.

She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Gary and Jan Hill of Crooksville; her sister, Wanda Anderson of Zanesville; her four grandchildren, her four great-grandchildren and her great-great-grandchild.

In addition to her parents, Elda Gail is preceded in death by her husband, Fred Hill who passed away February 3, 1967.

Elda Gail will be buried beside her husband in Grandview Cemetery in Bremen, where there will be a graveside services, 1:00 PM, Saturday, June 17, 2017 with Pastor Marc Caton officiating.
