Erma Kathleen DeSarro, 87, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, September 5, 2017 at Riverside Methodist Hospital in Columbus following an extended illness.
She was born, August 6, 1930 in McLuney, the daughter of the late, James and Ethel Sharkey Willison.
Kathleen loved to bake raspberry and pumpkin pies for her family. As well as, spending time making traditional spaghetti and meatballs, all of which she made from scratch.
She is survived by her daughters, Darleen DeSarro Boyd of Roseville and Anita (Todd) Tweedy of Crooksville; her sons, Rosario "Rusty" (Carolyn) DeSarro of Crooksville and William DeSarro of Roseville; her niece, Patricia Wolfe of New Lexington; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Kathleen is preceded in death by her husband, Frank Tony "Chico" DeSarro who died, January 17, 1998; her sisters, Louise Dunkle and Joy Clemens, Mildred Willison and her brothers, Robert Willison, Cecil Willison.
Family and friends will be received from 9:00 AM-1:30 PM, Saturday, September 9, 2017 at GOEBEL FUNERAL HOME, 36 N. BUCKEYE ST., CROOKSVILLE. Funeral services and a celebration of Kathleen's life will follow at 1:30 PM, with Deacon Mark Weiner officiating. Burial will follow in St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery in Crooksville.
