Evelyn V. Wiseman

Evelyn V. Wiseman, 101, of Roseville, Ohio passed away at 6:50 AM, Saturday, June 28, 2014 at Cedar Hill Care Center following an extended illness.

Evelyn was born December 31, 1912 in New Lexington, the daughter of the late Cyrus and Viola Hamilton Koehler.

She was a homemaker, a devoted mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and great-great- grandmother. Also, she was an avid bingo player.
Evelyn was Methodist by faith.

She is survived by her daughters and son-in-law, Marie Waltemire and Barbara and Eldon McArtor, all of Roseville; her son, Harold Wiseman of Crooksville; her grandchildren and their spouses, Roxanne and John Diveley, Bryan McArtor, Crystal and Doug Snider, Eric and Camie Waltemire, Penny and Don Watson, Donna and Ray Suppan, Tara and Tom Locke and Lori and Mike Wells; 17 great-grandchildren and 24 great-great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, Evelyn was preceded in death by her husband, Elmer Wiseman who passed away March 9, 1996; her brothers, Carl, Lewis and Floyd Koehler; her sisters, Hazel Penrod, Hattie Fealty, Rosella Adrian and her twin sister, Eleanor Levering; her granddaughter, Sherry Myers; her daughter-in-law, Nancy Wiseman and her son-in-law, Ed Waltemire.

Family and friends will be received 4:00-8:00 PM, Monday, June 30 at GOEBEL FUNERAL HOME, 36 N. BUCKEYE ST., CROOKSVILLE. Funeral services and a celebration of Evelyn's life will be at 10:00 am, Tuesday, July 1 at the funeral home with Pastors Ed Simons and Eric Waltemire officiating. Burial will follow in Mt. Horeb Cemetery next to her beloved husband.
