Fairy Matilda Hale went to be with her Lord and Savior from her home on December 7, 2023 at the age of 93 (16 days shy of her 94th birthday).
Fairy was born on December 23, 1929 at the family home in Plevna, Kansas to Harry Eugene Frisk and Mary Elizabeth Frisk (Gosvenor).
Upon moving from Kansas to Oakdale, California at the age of 5, Fairy attended Oakdale Elementary schools and graduated from Oakdale High School in 1948. Upon graduating from high school on a Friday night, the very next day , Fairy along with her cousin Dimple Presley (Perry) moved to the Bay Area to seek work. There in the Bay Area Momma met her future husband, Charles Luther Hale (aka Jack), who was serving in the United States Navy. Charles L. Hale was born in San Toy, Ohio and raised in Portersville, Ohio. Upon being honorable discharged from the U.S. Navy, Dad and Mom moved from California to Columbus, Ohio where their first born son, David Keith Hale was born on July 21, 1951. After a year of so Mom and Dad moved back to California where their final son Karl Henry Hale was born on May 26, 1953 in Oakdale, California.
Fairy is survived by her son, Karl H. Hale of California, one sister, Janet Mary Frisk of California, several grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandson, Briggs Hagan Edward Spurzem of Montana, the love of Momma's life. Momma has many nephews, nieces and cousins. One nephew who stands out is Gene Patrick Miller of California. Also Momma's great friend, The Reverend Joseph Pareirra of Alaska, he was her favorite pastor.
Fairy is predeceased by both of her parents, Harry and Mary Frisk, husband Charles L. Hale, son, David Keith Hale, four sisters and 3 brothers.
Lastly Fairy M. Frisk Hale, my Momma is going to a reunion party with family and friends she has not seen in a long time. Momma is comforted in knowing her Dad, Mom, Husband and Son, Keith will be there at the entrance of The Pearly Gates to meet her. But don't worry she hasn't completely left us, for she will be watching over all of us every now and then, especially when we are in great need of comfort.
