Gary F. Hill

Gary F. Hill, 76, of Crooksville died at 7:00 PM, Monday, December 11, 2017 at Genesis Hospice and Palliative Care Morrison House after a brief battle with cancer.

He was born September 16, 1941 in Rosefarm, the son of the late Fred and Elda Gail Oakley Hill.

Gary was a retired heavy equipment operator for Oxford Mining in New Lexington. Gary had a passion for restoring antique tractors.

He is survived by his wife, Jan A. Chappelear Hill with whom he was united in love for over 30 years; his daughters, Jill (Tony) Hina of Zanesville, Jamie (Duane) Coursey of Jesup, GA, Belinda (Terry) Musick of Carthage, NC, Amy Utsch of Chicago, IL and Kathy Smith of Michigan; his sons, Steven (Andrea) Hill of Nashport, Billy (Sheri) Hoffer of Savannah, GA and Gene Hill of Triadelphia; his grandchildren, Glen and Bryce Hill, Erin (Woodward) McCollister, Skyler and Aaron Hoffer, Whitney Deal, Trace and Slade Musick; Chase Rodriquez, Jessica Coursey, Hunter and Zack Hill and Travis Nelson; his five great-grandchildren, and his fur babies, Pete, Sugar 2, Talulah, and the ones that are waiting for him on the other side, Hershey, Sugar and Bailey.

In keeping with Gary's wishes he will be cremated and there will be no services held.
