Gary Leroy Sprankle, 56, of Crooksville died in the evening hours of Monday, December 12, 2022, at his home following a brief illness.
He was born the baby boy on September 30, 1966, to his parents, Roger and Dorothy (Dobbins) Sprankle of Crooksville.
Gary was a very hard worker, once he graduated from Crooksville High School, he went to work for Malta Manufacturing until the plant closed, he then went to work for Grief Bros and then for Jeld-Wen Windows. Gary was a very social person, always down for a good time, especially with family and friends. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and mushroom hunting with his sons down at the AEP. He spent many nights hanging out as a social member at the American Legion and VFW in Crooksville. He was a fiercely loyal man to his Sprankle family, and they will miss Gary, who was always the life of the party.
He is survived in life by his sons, Jeremy (Cyndi) Sprankle, Ryan Sprankle and Tyler Sprankle, his doting parents, Roger and Dorothy Sprankle, his brother and sister-in-law, Rod (Mandy) Sprankle; several nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles and his granddaughter, Emma Jo Sprankle.
Friends will be received to pay their respects from 3-7:00 PM, Friday, December 16, 2022. Funeral services will follow at 7:00 PM, being rendered by Pastors Marc Caton and Dan Hinkle. Following the funeral, Gary will be cremated and returned to his family for them to carry with them.
