Gary E. Wheeler, 60, of Roseville, Ohio passed away at 9:56 PM, Saturday, May 26, 2012 at Good Samaritan Hospital in Zanesville following a sudden illness.
Gary was born May 21, 1952 in Zanesville, the son of the late Harold and Mary Householder Wheeler.
He was an electrician at Momentive Performance (formerly GE) in Heath. One of Gary's passions in life was the love of repairing, restoring and driving autombiles and motorcycles. His greatest love and devotion was of his family.
Gary is survived by his daughters, Gina Watson of Crooksville and Cheyanne Wheeler of Roseville; his companion, Sally Rupe: his sister and brother-in-law, Donna and Paul James of Crooksville; his brothers, Jeff Wheeler of Newark and Patrick Wheeler of Roseville; his grandchildren, Jera Wheeler and Tanner Watson and one great grandson, Grason Swogger.
In addition to his parents, Gary was preceded in death by his brother, John Wheeler and his sister, Diane Riggs.
Family and friends will be received 2-4 & 6-8 PM, Wednesday, May 30 at GOEBEL FUNERAL HOME, 36 N. BUCKEYE ST., CROOKSVILLE. Funeral services and a celebration of Gary's life will be held at 11:00 AM, Thursday, May 31 at the funeral home with Pastor Aaron Bounds officiating. Cremation will follow the services.
