Jack Wayne Harley, 79, of Crooksville passed away at 10:15 PM, Sunday, April 10, 2011 at Riverside Country Care Center in McConnelsville following an extended illness.
He was born January 29, 1932 in Columbus, Ohio, the son of the late Nelva and Hazel McFadden Harley.
Jack was a former truck driver for Robinson-Ransbottom Pottery in Roseville. He was an Army veteran of the Korean Conflict and a member of American Legion Post 71 in Roseville and VFW Post 9090, Crooksville-Roseville.
Mr. Harley is survived by his daughter, Jeanie Jones of McConnelsville; his son, Eldon Byers of Mt. Perry; his sister, Doris Jean Fancelli of Columbus; grandchildren, Tammy Stoneburner, Duane L. Byers, Dusty Byers, Eva Byers, Jackie Walton, Patrick Bolling and Jackie Bolling and many great grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, Jack is preceded in death by his wife, Patricia Ann Mason Harley who passed away July 31, 2000; his son, Duane Byers; great grandchild, Justin Stoneburner; nine brothers and two sisters.
The Harley family will receive visitors 5-8 PM, Wednesday, April 13 at GOEBEL FUNERAL HOME, 36 N. BUCKEYE ST., CROOKSVILLE. Cremation will follow.
