Jack Lee Morical, 74, of New Lexington, formerly of Crooksville, peacefully passed away at 12:02 AM, Friday, October 17, 2014 at Genesis Care and Rehab in New Lexington.
Jack was born in Junction City on June 18, 1940, the son of the late Floyd and Eleanor Rambo Morical.
He was protestant by faith and was a corrections officer for the state of Ohio and the Lebanon Correctional Institute.
Jack is survived by his wife of fifty-three years, Faye Moore Morical of Zanesville; his daughters, Teresa (John) Scheiderer of Batavia, Tamara (John Chapman) McElfresh of Zanesville and Joy Leeann (Doug) Ferrell of Zanesville; his son, Robert (Leann) Morical of Newark; his grandchildren, John, Dawn and Jacob Scheiderer, Jessica (Michael) Grant, Jeanne McElfresh, Emily, Madison and Zoe Ferrell, Tyler Santilli, Jesse Chapman and John Chapman, Jr. and his great-grandchildren, Logan, Olivia and William Scheiderer, Dylan Snell, Leigha Grant and Cayden and Gage Hildenbrand.
In addition to his parents, Jack is preceded in death by his daughter, Eleanor Marie Morical; his grandson, Bobby Morton and his sister, Shirley Caldwell.
Family and friends will be received 4:00 PM-7:00 PM, Saturday, October 18, 2014 at the GOEBEL FUNERAL HOME, 36 N. BUCKEYE ST., CROOKSVILLE. Funeral services and a celebration of Jack's life will be on Saturday at 7:00 PM with Pastor Tom Locke officiating. In keeping with Jack's wishes a dignified cremation will follow.
