Karolyn D. Hazlett, 68, of Crooksville, Ohio passed away at 8:17 PM, Thursday, October 6, 2011 at Ohio State University Hospital in Columbus following an extended illness.

She was born October 28, 1942 in Crooksville, the daughter of the late Patrick and Francis Fortney Harbaugh.

Karolyn was a homemaker. She was employed for many years at the Hull Pottery Company and had more recently worked at Julie's Dairy Cream both in Crooksville. She was Protestant by faith.

Karolyn is survived by her husband of fifty years, Kenneth Hazlett; her daughter, Molly Hazlett of Crooksville; her sons, Robert Glenn (Misty Street) Hazlett of Saltillo, Kenny Hazlett and Tim (Jodi Bosworth) Hazlett all of Crooksville; her sister, Myrna Hoffer of Crooksville; her grandchildren, Kelly Hazlett, Warren, Kayla, and Taylor Street, Tori, Bayleigh, Kristen, Brett, Michelle and Patrick Hazlett and her great grandchild, Devon Hazlett.

In addition to her parents, Karolyn was preceded in death by sisters, Alma Rosalie and Patricia Ruth Harbaugh.

Family and friends will be received 4-8 PM, Sunday, October 9 at GOEBEL FUNERAL HOME, 36 N. BUCKEYE ST., CROOKSVILLE. Funeral services and a celebration of Karolyn's life will be held at 11:00 AM, Monday, October 10 at the funeral home with Pastor Gay E. Blau officiating. Burial will follow in Iliff Cemetery, McLuney.
