In Loving Memory of Lisa Yvonne Halderman
September 24, 1962 - November 29, 2023
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Lisa Yvonne Halderman, a beloved mother, sister, and friend. Lisa peacefully left this world on November 29, 2023, at Cedar Hill Care Center, surrounded by her loving family. She was 61 years old.
Born on September 24, 1962, in Columbus, OH, Lisa grew up with a zest for life and a passion for her loved ones. Despite facing challenges, she embraced each day with a smile on her face and a heart full of love. Lisa's greatest joy in life came from being a dedicated homemaker and nurturing her family's wellbeing.
Lisa's love for nature was reflected in her beautiful flower beds that adorned her home. She delighted in the simple pleasures of mushroom hunting and the tranquility of crappie fishing. Always up for a challenge, she loved tackling DIY-home improvement projects and took immense pride in the improvements she made to her home.
A master of her craft, Lisa found solace in the art of sewing and took great pleasure in creating one-of-a-kind pieces. She had an eye for treasures, and thrift store shopping, particularly at Goodwill, was her favorite pastime. Lisa had an uncanny ability to find hidden gems and transform them into something special.
She is survived by her loving daughters, Kristin Halderman and Amanda Halderman, as well as her sons, Thomas Halderman and Michael Halderman. Lisa was a cherished mother-in-law to Cody Jones and Miranda McMullen and a proud grandmother to her grandchildren, Taylor, Alexander Lee, Joseph, Emmalei, Nolan and Kaitlynn; as well as her great-grandbabies, Paisley and Guinevere. She will be forever remembered and dearly missed by her sister, Mari Susan Bucy, and brothers, Randall Bucy and Gerald Bucy, along with sister-in-law Rhonda Bucy.
Preceding her in death by only 84 Days are her husband, Timmy Lee Halderman and her sisters, Lori, Joni and Evelyn Bucy.
To honor Lisa's memory and celebrate her remarkable life, a family viewing was held at Goebel Funeral Home. As we come together to share our cherished memories and bid a fond farewell, let us find solace in the laughter and joy she brought to our lives.
Lisa Yvonne Halderman leaves behind a legacy of love, resilience, and unwavering dedication to family. May her spirit live on in the hearts of all those who were privileged to have known her.
