Louise Marie Watts, 89, of Vincennes, Indiana, formerly of Crooksville, Ohio passed away at 8:35 AM, Friday, July 26, 2013 at Bridge Point Health Campus in Vincennes following an extended illness.
Louise was born May 8, 1924 in East Fultonham, Ohio, the daughter of the late Theodore Virgil Carson and Della Fleming Carson Tysinger.
Louise had worked as a secretary at the Hull Pottery and the City Loan, both in Crooksville and Anesthesiology Associates in Zanesville. She had also served as an aide in the Crooksville Schools. She was a member of First Hope United Methodist Church in Crooksville and Carnation Chapter 167 Order of Eastern Star of New Lexington.
Louise is survived by her daughters and son-in-law, Debby and Don Silver of Somerville, New Jersey and Darcy Lyle of Vincennes; her sons and daughter-in-law, Byron and Nanci Watts of Edwardsville, Illinois and Craig Watts of Zanesville; ten grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James Emmett Watts who passed away October 19, 1992; her great-grandson, Beckham James Watts, her sister, Louanna Smith and her step-father, Bob Tysinger.
Family and friends will be received 6:00-8:00 PM, Tuesday, July 30 at GOEBEL FUNERAL HOME, 36 N. BUCKEYE ST., CROOKSVILLE. Funeral services and a celebration of Louise's life will be held at 11:00 AM, Wednesday, July 31 at the funeral home with Pastor Peggy Watts officiating. Burial will follow in Crooksville Cemetery.
