M. Diana McCormick

M. Diana McCormick, 67 of Deavertown, Ohio passed away at 11:17 A.M., Sunday, March 27, 2011 after an extended illness at her residence surrounded by her loving family.

She was born September 16, 1943 in Zanesville the daughter of the late James Roscoe and Myrtle Marie Mummaw Devoll.

Diana was a homemaker, a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother.

She is survived by her husband of 49 years, William M. McCormick; her daughters, Sheila Brewer of Zanesville, Bridgette and Dave Butler of Otsego and Vina & Sam Renick of Deavertown; her sons, Kenneth & Bertha McCormick and Darrel McCormick all of Deavertown; step-children, Patricia McCormick, Crystal Tracey, Martin Lee McCormick and William Edward & Crystal McCormick all of Zanesville; her sisters, Viola & Harry VanDyne of Adamsville, Mary Gordon of Zanesville, Edith Donaldson of Fultonham, Ethel McCormick of Zanesville, Beverly McCormick of Sod, West Virginia and Georgina & Jim Glass of Zanesville; her brother, Gene & Sally Devoll of Zanesville; several grandchildren and great grandchildren; special granddaughters, Brittany Renick and Karrie Brewer; and special caregiver, Randi Greiner of Crooksville.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by sister, Betty Van Dyne and her brother, Raymond, James, Lawrence, and Jake Devoll and step granddaughter, Stephany Hamilton.

The McCormick family will receive visitors 2-4 & 6-8 P.M., Wednesday, March 30 at GOEBEL FUNERAL HOME, 36 N. BUCKEYE ST., CROOKSVILLE. Funeral services and a celebration of Diana's life will be held at 1:00 P.M., Thursday, March 31 with Pastor Mary Perani officiating at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Dutch Hill Cemetery, Deavertown.
