Mabel L. Densmore

Mabel Louise Densmore, 87, of Crooksville, Ohio passed away at 1:05 PM, Sunday, May 5, 2013 at Good Samaritan Hospital in Zanesville following a brief illness.

Mabel was born April 17, 1926 in Rehoboth, the daughter of the late Walter J. and Bertha M. Crum McClintock. She had worked in janitorial services at City Loan and Central Trust Bank. Mabel was a member of First Hope United Methodist Church in Crooksville.

She is survived by her daughters and sons-in-law, Debbie and Doug Nash of New Lexington, Dorothy and Doug Snyder of Roseville, Polly and Steve Allen of Crooksville and Donna Ross of Thornville; her sons and daughters-in-law, Jim and Harriett Densmore of Crooksville, Mike and Carol Densmore of Somerset and David and Teresa Densmore of Caldwell; her sister, Merriem Bolyard of Bristol; her brother and sister-in-law, Arthur and Mary Ann McClintock of Newark; her grandchildren, Jason & Robin Allen, Tracy & Andrew Rollins, Jeremy & Bridget Allen, Amy & Jon Smith, Stacie & Sam Dennis, Doug & Ashley Snyder, Jr., Selena & Chad Hollar, Michael & Tanya Ross, Debbie Jo & Tim McLain, Donald Harbaugh, John & Megan Snyder, Daneille & Adam Vessalank, Bradley Densmore, and Darci Ross(Dionne Hutchinson); her great grandchildren, Sarah, Anna, Raeanna, Nate, Jaden, Hannah, Sydney, Gabrielle, Logan, Jimmy, Bailey, Emily, Ashley, Andrew, Megan, Scott, Lexi, Landen, Tyler, Skylyn, Kaitlyn, Brady, Chadwik, Jaylyn & Xavier and her great great grandchildren, Bryson, Logan, Addison, Abagail, Catherine Nicole, Julie, Brittany, Tyler and Zachary.

In addition to her parents, Mabel was preceded in death by her husband, Francis A. Densmore who passed away May 20, 2006; her grandsons, Jimmy Nash and Danny Allen; her great grandson, Lucas Dennis and her brothers, Lawrence and Robert McClintock.

Family and friends will be received 2-8 PM, Wednesday, May 8 at GOEBEL FUNERAL HOME, 36 N. BUCKEYE ST., CROOKSVILLE. A brief prayer and remembrance service will be held at 8:00 PM with Pastor Gay E. Blau officiating. Cremation will follow the service. Mabel's cremains will be interred with her husband in Crooksville Cemetery at a later date.

Memorial contributions may be made to Genesis Hospice and Palliative Care, 713 Forest Ave., Zanesville, Ohio 43701. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
