Marion "Butch" Walter Mauller, 70, of Canton, died in the morning hours of Tuesday, January 25, 2022, at Aultman Hospital following a battle with diabetes.
He was born one of seven children on April 14, 1951 to the late Arthur and Lenna (Woods) Mauller.
Butch and his siblings grew up in Roseville and later in life he moved to Canton where he worked his trade. He owned and was the sole operator of a tree trimming and landscaping business. A true outdoorsman, Butch enjoyed fishing and being a farm boy with his animals. His family called him "The Chef" because he was one heck of a cook. He will be missed by his family and friends.
Surviving Butch in life are his children, Melissa Mauller, Mickey Dyer and Lenna (Fred) Kinney; the mother of children, Scelenia Buskirk, and a very special person, Arthur Raymond Mauller. Butch also leaves behind several darling grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, Butch is preceded in death by his siblings, Frankie Mauller, Eddie Mauller, Charles Mauller, Joseph Mauller, Raymond Mauller and Dolores Nice.
The family has chosen to mourn privately and have Butch cremated, after which, he will be laid to rest with the rest of his family in Roseville.
Goebel Funeral Home has been caring for Butch and the Mauller family.
Expressions of sympathy may be posted on the funeral home’s website.
