Mary Ernestine 'Teeny' Baughman, 99, of Crooksville, Ohio passed away at 6:10 PM, Saturday, November 9, 2013 at New Lexington Care and Rehabilitation Center following an extended illness.
Teeny was born March 22, 1914 in Somerset, the daughter of the late Harry and Hattie Leckrone Miller.
She was a former pottery worker, having worked at the Crooksville China Company, the Hull Pottery Company and Fra-Mor Pottery. She was a member of the First Hope United Methodist Church in Crooksville and the Mothers' Guild.
Teeny is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Beth and Harold Frash of Crooksville; her sons and daughters-in-law, Michael and Joanne Baughman of Crooksville and Jerry and Brenda Baughman of Nashport; her grandchildren, Tim and Shonda Frash, Jeff and Lisa Baughman, Chris and Jan Baughman, Jason and Abby Baughman and Tyler and Kristin Baughman; her great grandchildren, Katelyn, Allison, Lindsay, Michael, Isabella and Nash Baughman, Laurel and Gage Frash; several nieces and nephews and special niece, Sue Trout of Zanesville.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Earl A. Baughman who passed away March 12, 1983; her sisters, Eva Brewer and Rosie Greene and her brothers, Roy Miller, Capt. Lloyd Miller and Robert D. Miller.
Family and friends will be received 4:00-8:00 PM, Monday, November 11, 2013 at GOEBEL FUNERAL HOME, 36 N. BUCKEYE ST., CROOKSVILLE. Funeral services and a celebration of Teeny's life will be held at 11:00 AM, Tuesday, November 12 at the funeral home with Pastor Dan Hinkle officiating. Burial will follow in Crooksville Cemetery.
Teeny's children wish to extend a sincere and heartfelt 'Thank You' to the staff at New Lexington Care and Rehab for the wonderful and loving care they provided for their mother all the years she was in their care. The family would also like to ask that donations be made to the New Lexington Care and Rehabiliation Residents' Activity Fund or please plan to visit someone in a nursing home to help brighten their day. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home for donations to the Activity Fund.
