Mary V. Hardwick

Mary V. Hardwick, 68, of Somerset, formerly of Crooksville, passed away at 3:30 AM, Sunday, May 15, 2016 at Fairfield Medical Center in Lancaster following an extended illness.

She was born March 19, 1948 in Columbus, the daughter of the late Marian E. and Mary (Boyhan) Tolliver.

Mary worked as a caregiver and assistant in mental health and therapy. She was a member of Church of The Atonement Catholic Church in Crooksville.

She is survived by her husband, William S. Hardwick, Sr.; her daughters, Tina Lavender (Norma Kinney) of Crooksville, Mary Lavender and fiancé, Michael Tolley of Zanesville, Beth (James) Wheeler of Corning, Beverly (David) Clemenson of New Concord and Laura (Mikhail) Dobrynion of Athens; her brothers, Gene (Evelyn) Tolliver of Reynoldsburg and Mike (Beverly) Tolliver of Somerset; eight grandchildren and one great grandchild.

In addition to her parents, Mary was preceded in death by her granddaughter, Brittany Clemenson and her daughter-in-law, Lisa Williams.

Family and friends will be received 9 :00-11:00 AM, Wednesday, May 18 at Church of The Atonement Catholic Church, 300 Winter St., Crooksville where funeral mass will be celebrated at 11:00 AM with Father John Reade as celebrant. Burial will follow in St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery, south of Crooksville.
