Mary Dorothy (Wycinski) Willison

Mary Dorothy Willison, 95, of Upper Sanducky, Ohio, formerly of Crooksville died in the early morning hours of Saturday, January 1, 2022 following an extended illness.

She was born January 9, 1926 in Corning, the daughter of the late Paul and Dora (nee: Bennett) Wycinski.

Dorothy was a former employee of Bryant Air Conditioning Company in New Lexington.  She was a very devout member of Church of The Atonement Catholic Church in Crooksville where she was always more than willing to help in the kitchen detail for any church fundraisers.  She was the designated ‘dish washer’ and would stand and wash dishes for hours without complaint.  Dorothy was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend.

Left behind to mourn her passing are her children and their spouses, Georgeann Morrison, Joan and Dennis Neff, Jean Ater and Tom and Shelle` Willison; her grandchildren, Eric Ater, Darin Ater, Julie (Mark) Miesle, JoLynn (Josh) Hardin, Mark (Julie) Neff, Kristan (Sam) Winsky, Marylin Willison and John Willison; her great-grandchildren, Daralyn Ater, Benjamin Neff, Aaron Miesle, Drew Miesle, Logan Hardin, Sam Hardin and Liv Winsky.

In addition to her parents, Dorothy is preceded in death by her husband, Nial W. Willison who died October 15, 1976 and her son-in-law, Jim Morrison.

Funeral Mass will be celebrated for Dorothy at 11 AM, Tuesday, January 4, 2022 at Church of The Atonement Catholic Church, 300 Winter St., Crooksville with Fr. Todd Lehigh as Celebrant.  Dorothy will be laid to rest next to her husband in Iliff Cemetery, McLuney.
