Michael Wayne Phillips

Michael Wayne Phillips, 49, of Crooksville, Ohio died at 8:48 PM, Wednesday, October 13, 2021 at Genesis Hospital in Zanesville from complications of Covid-19.

He was born March 12, 1972 in Elyria, the son of the late Dan and Connie (nee: Rhoads) Phillips.

Michael was a disabled former employee of Anchor Hocking Co. in Lancaster.  He was an avid sports fan of all Cleveland sports and he enjoyed fishing.  Michael was a devoted family man, a loving husband and dad.

Left behind to mourn his passing is his wife of eighteen years, Lisa (nee: Searles) Phillips; his daughter, Ashley Phillips; his brothers and their spouses, Danny (Sherry) Phillips and Dean (Melanie) Phillips and his nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, Michael was preceded in death by his brother-in-law, Michael Searles.

Family and friends will be received 4-8 PM, Sunday, October 17, 2021 at Goebel Funeral Home, 36 N. Buckeye St., Crooksville after which Michael will be cremated.
