Miriam Joan Hall, 87, of Crooksville, Ohio, formerly of Columbus passed away at 8:29 AM, Friday, February 9, 2024 at her daughter’s residence, with whom she made her home.
She was born July 1, 1936 in Columbus, the daughter of the late Jasper Strawser and Ethel Hall.
Miriam was a retired factory worker, having worked in numerous factories in the Columbus area with the last being Federal Glass. She was an avid fan of singers, Elvis Presley and Marty Robbins and she dearly loved her kitty cats. She was dearly loved by her family and will be sadly missed.
Left behind to mourn her passing are her children, Lisa and Eugene Joseph, Laura Scott, Daniel Morrison and Bob Morrison and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her granddaughter, Tracy Scott and her siblings, Charles Strawser, Blanche Bateman, Freda Goldsberry, Jesse Simmons, Mary Wise, and her twin sister, June Strawser.
Family and friends will gather at 11 AM, Wednesday, February 14, 2024 at Goebel Funeral Home, 36 N. Buckeye St., Crooksville for a time of visitation. A graveside service will be held at 12 noon on Wednesday at Crooksville Cemetery with Pastor Marc Caton as celebrant. Miriam will be buried near her granddaughter in Crooksville Cemetery.
