Nora Evelyn Bateson

Nora Evelyn Bateson, 64, of New Lexington, passed away at 4:40 p.m., Sunday, September 6, 2009 at Fairfield Medical Center in Lancaster after a brief illness. She was born Spetember 17, 1944 in Bearfield Township to the late Alex Parker and Nora Bateson Parker of Crooksville. Nora worked in local potteries and Essex Wire. She is survived by her daughters, Dana (Michael) Brown of Jacksonville, NC and Teresa Bateson of Thornville; her sisters, Dorothy Bowen of Crooksville, Mary Lou Hinkle of Six Mile Turn, Shirley (Ed) Willison of Crooksville and Debbie (Albert) Butcher of New Lexington; her brothers, Ron (Donna) Parker of New Lexington, Gene Parker of Crooksville and Richie (Carol) Parker of Zanesville; her granddaughter, Autumn Brown (Barry Thompson) and her great grandchildren, Arthur Brown and Bella Thompson. She was preceded in death by her father; and her brother, Billy Parker. Friends may call from 6:00 to 7:00 P.M Monday, September 7 at GOEBEL FUNERAL HOME, 36 N.
