Norma Irene (Nixon) Kinnan
January 26, 1939 — July 19, 2018
Norma Irene Kinnan, 79, of Crooksville, died at 4:30 AM, Thursday, July 19, 2018 at Genesis Health & Rehabilitation in New Lexington.
She was born the only daughter of Wilbur and Mary (Lemity) Nixon on January 26, 1939.
Norma spent her life as a homemaker, where she along with her late husband Richard raised their son, Kevin. She attended the church just down the street from her, the Rose Farm Church of Christ. In her free time Norma enjoyed playing Bingo with her friends and competing in Euchre tournaments. She also had memberships in the American Legion Auxiliary 222, the Mother's Club and the CB Club.
Surviving her in life are her son and daughter-in-law, Kevin and Rebecca Kinnan; her brother, Donald (Margaret) Nixon; her granddaughter, Kathy (Ryan) Stalter and her great-grandchildren, Sarah Stalter and Bryan Stalter.
In addition to her parents and her husband, Norma is preceded in death by her brother, Richard Nixon.
The family has chosen to honor Norma's wishes by receiving friends and family from 11:00 AM-1:00 PM, Saturday, July 21, 2018 at the Goebel Funeral Home, 36 N. Buckeye St., Crooksville. Funeral services will follow at 1:00 PM at the funeral home with Pastor Marc Caton officiating. Norma will be laid to rest in Iliff Cemetery beside her husband.
