Paul Thomas Baldwin, 89, of Crooksville, Ohio passed away, Saturday, July 1, 2017 at his home.

He was born, March 3, 1928 in Paintsville, KY, the son of the late George and Zelda Dale Baldwin.

Paul served his country in the U.S. Army during World War II. He was a retired auto body repairman for Van Horn Motors in New Lexington. In addition, Paul was Baptist by faith.

He is survived by his son, George (Pam) Baldwin of Canal Winchester; his step-daughters, Connie (Bob) Alberty of Lake Erie, JoAnn Bloomfield of Belpre and Teresa (Michael) Weiner of Malta; his step-son, Robert (Lai) Tribble of Groveport; his sisters, Peggy Foley of Marietta and Rudy (Lee) Caudill of Alabama; his grandchildren, Trisha (Matt) Kells, Mashala Baldwin (Ethan Blackstone) and several step-grandchildren; his great-grandchildren, Makayla George, Mackenzie George, Nailee Grubb, Brileigh Grubb, Georgia Blackstone and several step-great-grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, Paul is preceded in death by his wife, Peggy Cauthen Baldwin who passed away November 9, 1996; his brothers, Jack Baldwin and Gilbert Ray Baldwin.

Friends and family will be received, 3:00 PM-7:00 PM, Saturday July 8, 2017 at the GOEBEL FUNERAL HOME, 36 N. BUCKEYE ST., CROOKSVILLE, where full military honors will be performed at 7:00 PM. In keeping with Paul’s wishes, he will be cremated and returned home to Kentucky.
