Paul E. Yost

Paul E. Yost, 70, of Roseville, Ohio passed away at 5:49 PM, Friday, August 9, 2013 at Genesis Good Samaritan Hospital in Zanesville following an extended illness.

He was born March 25, 1943 in Zanesville, the son of the late Kenneth and Ida Crooks Yost.

Paul served our country in the US Navy and was a member of American Legion Post 71 in Roseville. He was a former area pottery worker and was a member of Rosefarm Church of Christ. He loved doing jigsaw puzzles, loved World War II history and assembling models ships and airplanes.

Paul is survived by his wife of 43 years, Sharon Weaver Yost; his daughters and son-in-law, Sabrina & Larry Rosser of Crooksville and Jean Yost of Roseville; his sister, Barbara Riley of San Toy; his brother and sister-in-law, Terry & Janice Yost of Crooksville and his granddaughter, Paige Rosser of Crooksville.

In addition to his parents, Paul was preceded in death by his brother, Karl Yost and his sister, Ann Fisher.

Family and friends will be received 2-4 and 6-8 PM, Monday, August 12 at GOEBEL FUNERAL HOME, 36 N. BUCKEYE ST., CROOKSVILLE. Funeral services and a celebration of Paul's life will be held at 11:00 AM, Tuesday, August 13 at the funeral home with Pastor Larry Taylor and Pastor Conard Wolf officiating. Cremation will follow the services. Burial and committal services will take place in Mt. Horeb Cemetery with full military honors at a later date.
